Mount Kisco Woman Accused Of DWI After Accident

She had to be taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mount Kisco woman was accused of drunken driving after being involved in a traffic accident. Yorktown police charged Madelin I. Bu Munoz, 23, of Mount Kisco, with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and fail to keep right, a violation.

Police said that, around 10:20 p.m. Feb. 20, they received a call from a resident of Hanover Street reporting an accident near the intersection with Montross Road.

Officers responded to the scene and found Munoz had been driving a 2018 Hyundai south on Hanover and the vehicle when off the road and struck a tree.

She was driving the car while intoxicated, police said.

Munoz was arrested and taken by Yorktown Ambulance to Hudson Valley Hospital Center for treatment of leg and head injuries.

Afterward, she was issued traffic summons and released on her own recognizance to hospital staff.

Munoz is scheduled to answer the charges in Yorktown Justice Court March 5.
