The download was done Feb. 27, they said.
The DA's criminal investigators squad, with the assistance from the New York State Police from the Troop K Somers barracks, arrested Gagliardi Wednesday.
He was arraigned Wednesday evening in Bedford Town Court and posted $2,500 bail.
Gagliardi is next scheduled to appear in court July 29.
The district attorney's office said that there were concerns in Somers Monday after a homeowner mistakenly reported to the state police that there were two men posing as police officers in the area.
