Nice, Then Heat Returns: Yorktown's Work Week Weather

Here is what you can expect this week in Somers.

YORKTOWN, NY — Of course when we return to work, the rain and storms are nowhere to be found in the Hudson Valley. After the weekend’s unsettled — and frequently stormy — weather, the work week begins with a couple of days with dry and sunny conditions.

“Dry air is projected to punch in from Canada, allowing sunshine and low humidity to return to the region on Monday and Tuesday,” said AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Alex Sosnowski.

The next chance for precipitation, with some thunderstorms thrown in most likely, will be overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
