Nice Weekend, Then Heat Returns: Northern Westchester's Weather

Here is what you can expect through the weekend in Yorktown, Peekskill and Mount Kisco.

NORTHERN WESTCHESTER, NY — Enjoy the next couple of days because the heat is going to come back after the weekend. Meteorologists said that the weather pattern through Saturday means warm days, low humidity and noticeably cooler nights.

“It will be comfortable for construction crews, farmers, sports teams and anyone else heading to a county fair or enjoying outdoor activities,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydnynowski said.

However, there will be a shift in the jet stream next week that will bring warm, humid weather over the northeast, with a number of days with temperatures well into the upper 80s and lower 90s.
