Ossining Man Arrested In Yorktown On Drug Charge

The arrest occurred at the Jefferson Valley Mall.

YORKTOWN, NY — An Ossining man was arrested for illegal drugs in Yorktown. Police said Timothy Heiserman Jr., 29, of Lincoln Avenue in Ossining, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Around 8:16 p.m. July 19, a Yorktown police officer was on a routine business check of the Jefferson Valley Mall when he saw allegedly suspicious drug activity by two people standing near a vehicle.

The officer was assisted by another Yorktown police officer and his K9 Spar.

An investigation found Heiserman had heroin, police said.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing. The other person was allowed to leave on foot.

Heiserman was charges and release on $260 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Aug. 21.
