Pair Accused Of Shoplifting At Macy's

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yonkers woman and a Yorktown man were accused of shoplifting from Macy's in Yorktown Heights. Yorktown police said Belinda Dolan, 19, of Yonkers, and Andres Tanzman, 26, of Yorktown, were both charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Police said, around 3 p.m. Friday, an officer was sent to investigate a report of two shoplifters in custody at Macy's.

An investigation found that Dolan and Tanzman stole property valued at more than $700.

They were arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

Dolan and Tanzman were released on their own recognizance and are scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 13.
