Phoenix Academy Resident Faces Felony Strangulation Charge in Yorktown Court
Bail was set at $25,000.

Yorktown police were called Nov. 15 by staffers at the Phoenix Academy on Stony Street about an assault that had already taken place.
The officers who investigated allege that Jose L. Osorio Jr. of Dobbs Ferry had choked another resident to the point that the victim lost consciousness and was injured.
At his arraignment, an Order of Protection was issued against Osorio, and he was sent to Westchester County Jail on $25,000 bail.
