Police Issue 63 Tickets During Seatbelt Check at FDR Park
The detail was part of the Buckle Up NY campaign.
Yorktown, NY — The New York State Police, as part of the Buckle Up NY campaign, held a seatbelt checkpoint at the entrance to the Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights Saturday, July 9.
As a result, the following traffic tickets were issued:
- 43 child restraint violations.
- 16 seatbelt violations.
- 4 other violations.
