Police: Teen with Knife at Lakeland High School

Turns out he was a suspect in criminal mischief incidents from 2014 too.

A Yorktown 15-year-old faces juvenile delinquency charges, most of which would be felonies if he had been treated as an adult.

Yorktown police were called to Lakeland High School at 10:55 p.m. July 2 after someone was reported to be trespassing.

They arrested the teen, whom they allege was carrying a gravity knife, and took him to Police Headquarters for processing.

There seven extra counts of juvenile delinquency were added to the charges, because he is alleged to have damaged vehicles in 2014.

If he were an adult, he would be facing 7 felony criminal mischief charges and 1 count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
