Police Warn Of Fake $20 Bills Around Yorktown
Authorities said not to try to retain the scammer if you realize in real time you've been given a counterfeit bill.

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown police are warning business owners and residents that some funny money is going around the community. In a Facebook post, the Yorktown Police Department said they’ve had three reported incidents of counterfeit $20 bills in the past few days.
“Not sure who ‘Cruger’ is, but he looks a lot like Andrew Jackson on this bogus $20,” the police department wrote.
“That backwards N in the bogus serial code screams out ‘fugazy’ as well,” they said.
