Power Outages, Tree Down In Yorktown: Police
Traffic lights are out and more than 800 customers are without electricity.
YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown Police Department is reporting power outages on the north side of town: Mohegan/Shrub Oak/Jefferson Valley. There are 600 NYSEG customers and 218 Con Ed customers without power as of around 3:30 p.m. Traffic lights are not working at Route 6 and Barger Street and at Route 6 and Sunnyside Road.

Police advise to avoid those intersections, especially if you attempting a left-hand turn.

There is a tree down on Stony Street in the area of Ivy Road. Stony Street is not passable at Ivy Road.
