2nd Time This Month: Putnam County Savings Bank Robbed
Yorktown police are looking for 2 men who came in just before noon.

The Putnam County Savings Bank in Jefferson Valley was robbed at lunchtime.
Yorktown police said two men entered the bank, handed plastic bags to a teller with instructions, and walked out with the bags of money.
Police described the men as 6-feet tall, mid-20s, black, wearing dark colored hats, sunglasses and dark clothing. One had a light-color bandana over his lower face.

The bank at 4739 Lee Blvd. had also been robbed Sept. 7.
