Putnam Woman Arrested For Drunken Driving
That's just one of the charges the woman is facing.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Putnam County resident was arrested in Yorktown for driving while drunk and more. Yorktown police said Kayla M. Muniz, 24, of Putnam Valley, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol content 0.18 percent of more and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors, and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and driving on the shoulder, traffic infractions.
Police said that, around 2:16 a.m. Nov. 1, a sergeant on routine patrol said he saw a vehicle that was being driven very slowly, while weaving in and out of the shoulder of the roadway.
A traffic stop was initiated and Muniz was identified as the driver.

Police said she was driving while drunk and had an open container of alcohol in the car.
Muniz was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was processed on the charges and released on $100 bail to a responsible party.

She is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 15.
