Queens Man Accused Of Selling Tobacco To Minor

The man is due back in court in July.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Queens man was accused of selling tobacco products to a minor. Yorktown police said Xuefang Liu, 41, of Corona, was charged with two counts of second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, misdemeanors.

Authorities said, around 1 p.m. June 19 and 11:30 a.m. June 20, police conducted two investigations regarding the sale of tobacco products to minors at Rock's Smoke Shop, 1925 Commerce St.

Police determined that Liu sold the tobacco to a child who was less than 18 years old on two separate occasions.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

Liu was later released on $250 bail and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court July 18.
