Rain and a Cool-down, Not from Matthew: 3-Day Weekend Weather for Yorktown

We tell you what to expect and when, through Columbus Day around Somers.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Hudson Valley won't feel the effects of Hurricane Matthew, which is expected to circle back on itself; but that doesn't mean we won't get rain.

"A cold front is approaching the region, this will spark the chance of showers tomorrow and also usher in some cooler air," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

That's the same system that caused severe thunderstorms and even snow across the central U.S. on Thursday! Let's hope it brings some rain.
