SOMERS, NY — Much needed rain is expected for the Hudson Valley early this week, followed by moderate temperatures.
The chance of rain starts in the early hours of Tuesday — so clouds shouldn't hide the supermoon rising on Monday— and will continue through the day. Forecasts call for up to a half inch, and we certainly will take it.
The rain will taper off Tuesday night and then we can expect sunny skies until the weekend.

“After the storm quickly exits the coast, the door will be opened for unseasonably mild conditions to build across the region,” said AccuWeather Metrorologist Renee Duff.
