Return to Sticky: Yorktown's Weather

SOMERS, NY — The humidity will return late this week. But there's good news, too — it won't be as hot. Temps shouldn't rise out of the lower 80s through the Hudson Valley.

The big question is, how wet will it get?

"Clouds and wet weather will increase in response to one system sweeping northeastward from the Plains and another diving southeastward from Canada," said Renee Duff, AccuWeather meteorologist. She suggested that fans headed to baseball games be prepared for a rain delay.

Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.

Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the morning, then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Cloudy with a slight chance of thunderstorms. A chance of showers in the evening, then showers likely after midnight. Lows in the mid 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Friday
Cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms. Showers likely, mainly in the morning. Highs in the lower 80s. Southeast winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.
