Rockland Man Accused Of Violating Order Of Protection

Police said the man voluntarily appeared at police headquarters where he was arrested.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Rockland man was accused of violating an order of protection. Yorktown police said Michael P. Mosher, 38, of West Haverstraw, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.

Police said they responded Tuesday at Yorktown Police Headquarters for a walk-in report of a domestic incident.

After an interview with the victim, police said that around 6:15 a.m. Jan. 11 Mosher stayed in the home of the victim after visitation hours, violating a valid temporary order of protection.

He voluntarily appeared at police headquarters Wednesday and was arrested.

After processing, Mosher was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 11.
