SOMERS, NY — Down into the 40s, up into the 80s. A chilly August, hot and humid in October. It's no wonder Hudson Valley Weather called out our recent weather as a "temperature rollercoaster."
Remember the beginning of the week, air-conditioner conditions? Well eastern Columbia County was under a frost advisory Thursday night.

"Sunday could be a final taste of summer, if everything breaks our way," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "A strong SW flow will pull warm air into the Hudson Valley. That should mean highs in the mid to upper 70s across the region. How much sunshine we see, remains the question… as the moist southerly flow could allow a good bit of cloudiness."

Tonight-Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of light rain. Lows in the mid 50s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday-Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. A 30 percent chance of light rain. Highs in the lower 70s. South winds around 5 mph.
Saturday Night-Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers. Lows around 60. East winds around 5 mph, becoming south after midnight.
Sunday-Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning, then partly sunny with a slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Sunday Night-Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. Lows in the mid 50s.
