UPDATE: Tarrytown Takes The Lead In Power Outages in Westchester

The snow is moving out of the area and by and large there were few outages.

TARRYTOWN, NY — Electricity is being restored in some areas and going off in others in Westchester County.

As of 5:50 p.m., Con Edison said there were 160 customers without electricity.

Elmsford has 22 outages, which should be back online at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Two customers are without power in Sleepy Hollow. Their condition is being assessed at this writing.

Tarrytown is seeing 135 customers in the dark. But their power should be restored by 8 p.m. Thursday.

And one outage still exists in Yonkers, which should be resolved by 7:30 p.m. Thursday.


Only a handful of Con Edison customers are without electricity as the snowstorm continues to deliver a punch.

As of 1:45 p.m. Thursday, only 57 customers don’t have power.

The Town of North Castle leads with 32. The estimated restoration time is 3 p.m. Thursday.

The Village of Briarcliff Manor has 12, with an estimated time of restoration of 2 p.m. Thursday.

Dobbs Ferry has 11 outages. They should be fixed by 3 p.m. Thursday.

Both White Plains and Yonkers have 1 and it should be fixed by 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
