Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect In Hudson Valley

There could also be gusty winds and heavy rain, the National Weather Service said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Hudson Valley Monday.

The National Weather Service said the watch is in effect until 11 p.m., for Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.

The watch is in addition to wind advisories in effect until 4 a.m. Monday for the lower Hudson Valley and 7 a.m. for the mid-Hudson Valley.
