Shoplifting Incidents at the JV Mall: Police Blotter

Here are some of the recent incidents on the Yorktown police blotter:

Scott V. Baia, 25, faces a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor, and driving a car without a front license plate, an infraction. Police on patrol at 12:25 p.m. March 29 saw a car being driven without a front plate and stopped it. Baia, a Yorktown resident, is due in town court April 28.

A Yorktown 20 year-old is charged with obstruction of government adminstration. Called to a domestic dispute at midnight March 26, police allege the man threatened family and police and would not comply with their directives. He is due in town court April 12.

Two 16-year-old boys from Putnam Valley were arrested after a call from security at Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall. Police allege they tried to steal two wireless speakers valued at $109.98. They're due in Yorktown town court April 26.

Madeline Lucre, 46, of Yonkers, and Rashon M. Diggs, 26, of the Bronx, are due in town court March 31 to answer larceny charges connected to an alleged shoplifting incident at Sears on March 26. Five bottles of perfume and a pair of headphones, valued at $319.99. They were sent to Westchester County Jail with bail at $2,500 for Lucre and $1,000 for Diggs.
