Snow, Rain Could Complicate A.M. Commute Tuesday

Snow, turning to a wintry mix, could be a problem. And I'm sure many of us want this to be the final snow event of the season.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The forecast hasn’t changed much as of Monday evening. Some snow is still on track to fall over much of the Hudson Valley from late tonight through Tuesday morning. It will likely start as snow sometime after midnight, turning to rain and snow during the early morning Tuesday.

The precipitation will become all rain as the morning turns into afternoon.

Of course, more northern locations and higher elevations might see more snow before it turns to rain.

With the high for Tuesday in the mid-40s, the probability of accumulating snow sticking around for very long is low.

Temps will dip Tuesday night to at or below freezing, so the chance for slick spots is possible.

But then Wednesday will see mostly sunny skies with a high near 50.
