Somers Man Accused Of Shoplifting From Lowe's

Officers met with the a loss prevention associate who said a man stole merchandise.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Town of Somers man was arrested after being accused of stealing from Lowe's. Yorktown police charged Dominick Lieto, 74, of Granite Springs, with petit larceny.

Police said, around 5 p.m. July 30, officers were sent to investigate shoplifting from Lowe's.

At the store, the officer met with the a loss prevention associate who said a man stole merchandise worth $405.79.

Lieto was identified as the man, police said.

He was located by police outside a Granite Springs residence and was placed under arrest.

At police headquarters, Lieto was processed and released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court Sept. 5.
