Somers Postpones Independence Day Celebration
Since Saturday's supposed to be soaking, everything is moved to Sunday.
Due to tomorrow’s weather forecast, Somers town Supervisor Rick Morrissey in conjunction with the Somers Lions, the Somers Fire Department, Somers police and the parks and rec department have decided to postpone the annual Independence Day Celebration.
All events, including the fireworks at the end of the day, are moved to Sunday, June 28.
