Somers, Yorktown DWI Arrests

State police from Troop K reported arrests over the weekend of 17 people accused of driving while impaired. That included arrests in Somers and Yorktown.

• On March 2, State Police from SP Stormville arrested Belkis Sanchez, 52, of Carmel, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
• On March 2, State Police from SP Somers arrested Joselyn Caceres, 27, of Elmsford, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on Tomahawk Street in the town of Somers, when she was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
