State Police Accuse Purdys Man of Burglary Spree in Somers and North Salem

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Michael Krisa, 30, on April 8 following a prolonged investigation into several residential burglaries committed in North Salem and Somers.

Krisa is accused of breaking into three unoccupied residences in North Salem over the last few months and removing jewelry and electronic devices. He is also accused of breaking into a business in Somers and removing property.

Police said proceeds from the burglaries were recovered at his home in Purdys and from his vehicle.

Krisa was was charged with three counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class C Felony, and one count of Burglary 3rd Degree, a Class D Felony.

He was arraigned in Somers town court and sent to the Westchester County Jail on $250,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in both North Salem and Somers courts respectively on April 13.
