State Police Holds Occupancy Safety Detail

The majority of tickets issued were for lack of child-restraint seating.

YORKTOWN, NY — The New York State Police held an Occupancy Safety Detail Sunday, July 16 at FDR State Park in the Town of Yorktown. It occurred between the 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. The detail yielded the following results, police said:

  • Child-restraint tickets: 48
  • Seatbelt arrests: 7
  • Other vehicle and traffic tickets: 12
  • Total tickets issued: 67
