Street Closings Set For Yorktown Street Fair
This will be 11th annual street fair and festival in Yorktown.
YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown police want motorists to know about street closings scheduled for Sunday for the 11th Annual Yorktown Festival and Street Fair. The fair will effect Commerce Street and Veterans Road.
To provide for the safety of all participants and attendees, the following roadways will be closed from around 7 a.m. until around 6 p.m.
- Commerce Street at the western driveway of the Albert A. Capellini Community Cultural Center
- Commerce Street just west of the Yorktown Heights Fire Department
- Veterans Road at Maple Hill Street
- Veterans Road at Downing Drive
Police said that additionally temporary "no parking" restrictions will be in place from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday on Commerce Street from the Yorktown Heights Fire Department to the western driveway of the Albert A. Capellini Community Cultural Center and on Veterans Road from Maple Hill Street to Downing Drive.
