Support Connection / Yorktown Trail Town Committee Fundraising Hike

This guided educational hike, with its roots in history, will include echoes of Yorktown's industrial past.

(Yorktown, NY) Support Connection is partnering with the Yorktown Trail Town Committee to host a guided 3.5 mile fundraising hike on easy trails through Sylvan Glen’s woodlands in Yorktown, NY. This educational hike, with its roots in history, will include the abandoned Mohegan Granite Quarry, where you’ll discover echoes of Yorktown’s industrial past.

An experienced guide, who is well versed in Yorktown’s rich history, will leave every 30 minutes between 8:30 and 10:00am. Allow 2 hours for the round trip. This is an ideal family activity (suggested for ages 8+). It is recommended that you wear sturdy footwear. The hike is rain or shine.

Chef Rob on Wheels’ Food Truck will be on site. Breakfast and/or lunch will be available for purchase.

Fees: Adult $20, Child/Student: $10, Family: $50. All proceeds will go to Support Connection.
