One of my favorite spots in the area for a night out. The Winery at St. George located at 1715 E. Main Street in Mohegan Lake is an intriguing and elegant new destination for anyone seeking a unique night out on the town. A 100-year-old church beautifully restored. Custom-make your evening with wine tasting at the illuminated bar, lounging at the many nook-and-crannied couch areas, dining at a table or in a lounge chair with the new Tapas and Entrée menu, or enjoying dinner and a show during one of the “Wednesday Night Live” performances. The bar is set very high when it comes to the eclectic selection of musical genres which includes Pop, Blues, R&B, Cabaret, Opera, Classical, Broadway and occasional Swing Dancing. There truly is something for everyone. Enjoy the newly renovated exterior grounds and in August and September the Winery introduces its FREE summer music concert series with live music every weekend (show time at 8pm). The summer weekend concerts do not detract from the Wednesday nights, with the BeatleMania stage show, Back to the Garden 1969–a Woodstock Tribute, Tramps Like Us–honoring Bruce Springsteen, Linda Valenti’s Freestyle Dance Tribute and more… They even have musical theatre coming this November with six performances of “Nunsense,” the musical! I wonder what’s next!
Open six days a week Wednesday thru Monday starting at 6pm and closed on Tuesdays
Dinner reservations are highly recommended as is early ticket purchases for Wednesday Night.
