Triple Negative Breast Cancer - An Open Discussion

Open to women who have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, breast cancer that is not estrogen, progesterone, or Her2 positive

(Yorktown Heights, NY) Support Connection, Inc. announces a free program: Triple Negative Breast Cancer - A Discussion Sharing Comfort, Confidence and Community. The discussion will be held via ZOOM video conference on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 7 – 8 pm (NY time).

Open to women nationwide, who have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, breast cancer that is not estrogen, progesterone, or Her2 positive. Pre-registration is required. To register, call Support Connection, 914-962-6402 or 800-532-4290. Must register no later than 5 pm (NY time) on Monday January 23, 2023. Space is limited.

This open discussion group will provide a venue to connect and talk openly with other women who have the same questions and concerns as you. It will offer an opportunity to connect with other women coping with questions and concerns such as:

  • Living with fear of recurrence.
  • Is stress and anxiety impacting your quality of life?
  • Managing short and long-term side-effects.
  • I have completed my treatment ...Now what?
  • What does self-care look like?
  • All topics of interest are welcome

The discussion will be led by a Support Connection Peer Counselor. This is not an educational program; there will be no professionals speaking about the medical or psychosocial aspects of cancer. Open Discussions present a valuable opportunity to connect with others with similar concerns who understand what you’re going through, and a chance to help one another by sharing information, resources, and coping strategies.

Support Connection, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization that provides free, confidential support services and programs to people affected by breast, ovarian or gynecological cancer.
