Two New Retailers Moving into the Jefferson Valley Mall

New retail offerings at the Jefferson Valley Mall will include DICK'S Sporting Goods and Torrid, mall officials have announced.

It's all part of the significant renovation project currently underway at the shopping center in Yorktown. H&M celebrated its new space there last week.

“This is an exciting time for Jefferson Valley Mall as we continue to evolve and offer the best possible shopping experience,” said David Napolitan, general manager at Jefferson Valley Mall. “These new additions, plus ongoing interior and exterior renovations, will signify our commitment to the Yorktown Heights community as their place to shop and relax.”

As the largest full-line sporting goods retailer in the U.S., DICK’S Sporting Goods offers a broad assortment of brand name sporting goods equipment, apparel and footwear in a specialty store environment. This 45,000-square-foot anchor store is scheduled to open during fall 2016 in Center Court.

Fashionistas will rejoice as Torrid is anticipated to open this summer, officials said. This fashionable addition for women between the sizes of 12 to 28 will be located near T-Mobile in the upper level of the Macy’s wing. JV Mall officials hope stylish shoppers will flock to take advantage of Torrid’s on-trend clothing, sleepwear, footwear, intimate apparel and more.

Also as part of the JV Mall’s ongoing renovation, shoppers will begin to notice new mall branding, interior cosmetic upgrades and other retail offerings, such as Hot Topic, which recently opened near New York & Company.

These retail enhancements complement Jefferson Valley Mall’s existing mix of popular retailers, including H&M, Bath & Body Works, The Children’s Place, Express, Forever 21, francesca’s, Macy’s, Sears and Victoria’s Secret.
