Unlicensed Operator Recognized, Charged in Yorktown

The Jefferson Valley resident was charged Sept. 22.

Michael J. Federici, 26, faces a charge of third-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Police said Officer Jason Payne was on patrol at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 22 when he saw Federici in a green Toyota driving east on Village Road. Payne knew that Federici’s driving privileges in New York had been suspended. A computer check confirmed it.

Federici was released on $100 bail and is due in Town Court Oct. 23.
