Woman Arrested For Stealing iPhone: Police
The Putnam sheriff's office had the woman in custody.

YORKTOWN, NY — Police arrested a 56-year-old Hudson Valley woman who allegedly stole an iPhone. Yorktown police charged Tracey G. Hurtz 56, of Putnam Valley, with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Around 4 p.m. Oct. 8, police were called to Cell Doc, at 650 Lee Boulevard, for a larceny complaint.
After an investigation, the officer said Hurtz stole an iPhone X valued at $899.99 belonging to the victim.

On Oct. 12, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office notified Yorktown police that they had Hurtz in custody, and she had the stolen iPhone in her possession.
She was placed under arrest later that day.

Hurst was taken to Yorktown Police Headquarters and processed on the charge.
She was released on $100 bail and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 15.
