Work Week Weather for Somers

We'll go from shivery to stormy to sweater weather around Yorktown.

SOMERS, NY — The work week will start out in the icebox and then we'll experience another storm, bringing in a big swing from Monday's below-average temperatures.

"A snow and ice threat is brewing for early in the week, with an eventual change over to rain as warm air once again invades our region from the Pacific," said Alex Marra of Hudson Valley Weather.

Tuesday afternoon, areas north and west of New York City will have the highest chance for any wintry weather, said Renee Duff, AccuWeather meteorologist. The steadiest rain will hold off until Tuesday night from Washington, D.C., to Boston.
