Wrong-Way Driver Faces Felony Drunk Driving Charge
Police said he had a prior conviction within the last decade.

YORKTOWN, NY — A driver going the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway is now facing a felony drunk driving charge. State Police said they had received a complaint of someone driving the wrong way on the parkway around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the Town of Yorktown in the area of the walkway bridge.
Troopers were assisted by the Yorktown Police Department and the vehicle was located.
The driver — Andrew R. Kothe, 28, of Yorktown — was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

He was charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol with a prior conviction within 10 years, a felony.
Kothe was issued uniform traffic tickets to return to the Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 20.
