Yonkers Man Accused Of Shoplifting From Macy's
Authorities said the stolen merchandise was worth more than $300.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yonkers man was accused of stealing from Macy's. Yorktown police said Kevin L. Daniels, 55, of Yonkers, was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Police said, around 6:20 p.m. May 24, they received a report of a shoplifter leaving Macy's. An officer responded and was able to locate Daniels, who was identified by Macy's loss prevention, police said.
Authorities determined that the Yonkers resident left the store without paying for merchandise valued at $332.96.

Daniels was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.
He was arraigned and was sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Daniels is next schedule to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court May 28.
