Yorktown 14-Year-Old Accused of Shoplifting from Sears
Yorktown police sent her and a Cortlandt Manor friend to Family Court.

Yorktown police report the arrest of two 14-year-old girls -- one from Yorktown and one from Cortlandt Manor -- who are charged with petty larceny.
Sears security employees called the cops in the evening of June 16 to report they had two shoplifters in custody.
Police say the two girls worked together to filch assorted merchandise worth $161.49.

Both were processed and released to a parent. They are due in Westchester County Family Court June 30. Their names were withheld because they are eligible for youthful offender status.
