Yorktown Cops Nab NYC Driver With Suspended NY Registration
The car also had an expired temporary out-of-state registration sticker.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown police officer on routine patrol saw a man drive through a red light at Route 6 and Hill Boulevard Wednesday evening in a car with an expired temporary registration out of New Jersey.
After stopping the car, the officer did a computer check and found that the car was registered in New York — and that registration was suspended. The officer also cited the driver for bad brake lights.
Victor A. Reyes Toribio of Manhattan was charged with operating a car with a suspended registration, a misdemeanor; and three traffic infractions: passed red traffic signal, inadequate stop lamps and unregistered motor vehicle.
