Yorktown Man Accused Of Choking, Threatening Another Man: Police
He was sent to jail in lieu of paying $25,000 bail.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown Heights man was arrested for allegedly trying to choke another man. Yorktown Police said Alexander S. Lieberman, 32, of Stony Street in Yorktown Heights, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree menacing, misdemeanors.
Police said around 7:21 a.m. April 23 they received a 911 call from a Stony Street resident reporting a fight in progress.
Officers who responded to the scene said Lieberman choked another man and threatened to kill him while displaying a large kitchen knife.

He was arrested at the scene and taken to police headquarters for processing.
Lieberman was arraigned in Yorktown Justice Court and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court May 3.
