Yorktown Man Accused Of Driving With Suspended License
Police said his license was suspended for failing to pay a fine multiple times.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was arrested after allegedly driving with a suspended license. Yorktown police charged Kenneth R. Mitchell, 58, of Yorktown, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and speed in zone and unlicensed operator, traffic infractions.
Police said that around 6:40 a.m. Sept. 21 an officer on patrol on Underhill Avenue saw a gray Audi that was traveling above the posted speed limit.
A traffic stop was initiated and a computer check at the scene revealed Mitchell's privilege to drive in New York was suspended multiple times for failure to pay a fine and he was unlicensed, police said.

He was arrested and take to police headquarters where he was processed on the charges and released on $100 bail.
Mitchell is scheduled to next appear in Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 23.
