Yorktown Man Accused Of Violating Protection Order

YORKTOWN, NY — A Morningside Drive resident faces a criminal contempt misdemeanor charge in Yorktown.

Police said a man who has an order of protection out against Sydney Russ, 47, complained that Russ approached and spoke to him on May 31.

Bail was set at $10,000 bond or $5,000 cash. Russ was not able to make bail and was sent to Westchester County Jail, police said. He is due back in Yorktown town court June 6.
