Yorktown Man Arrested For Assault: Police
Police said the man used a glass bottle to injury another person.

YORKTOWN, NY — Police arrested a Yorktown man who was accused of assaulting someone with a bottle. Yorktown Police said Kevin L. Velasquez, 28, of Upland Road in Yorktown, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony.
Police said they received a call Feb. 4 about a previous assault at a Kear Street address.
An investigation found that Velasquez struck someone in the head with a glass bottle, causing an injury.

Velasquez was found and arrested Feb. 22.
After being processed, he was held pending an arraignment.
