Yorktown Man Arrested For Driving Without License, Registration

Police were called to the scene of an accident.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was arrested after police found he driving without an license or registration. Yorktown Police said Robert V. Holguin, 38, of Baptist Church Road in Yorktown, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operate a motor vehicle while registration or privilege is suspended, misdemeanors.

Around 3:10 p.m. April 17, police responded to Route 129 at Underhill Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle accident.

While investigating, the officer found that Holguin was allegedly driving while his license and registration were suspended.

Police said his license was allegedly suspended because he failed to answer a summons and for his insurance not being in effect. His registration was also allegedly suspended because he didn’t have insurance.

Holguin was released on his own recognizance at the scene and taken to Westchester Medical Center by Yorktown Ambulance.

He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court May 16.
