Yorktown Man Arrested For Forging Disability Checks: Police
A woman complained the checks had been deposited without her permission.

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown Police arrest a 32-year-old man for allegedly forging disability checks. Police said Jesse Suggs, of Viewland Drive in Yorktown, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony.
Around 4 p.m. Aug. 8, a Yorktown woman appeared at police headquarters reporting that two of her disability checks had been forged and deposited into an account with her permission. The officers assigned to the case conducted an investigation that found Suggs allegedly possessed the two forged check belonging to the woman.

Suggs appeared voluntarily at Yorktown Police Headquarters at 7:45 p.m. Aug. 10 and was arrest.
He was held pending arraignment, police said.
