Yorktown Man Arrested While Driving, Smoking Pot: Police

Police said he was spotted because he didn't use a turn signal.

YORKTOWN, NY — A 26-year-old Yorktown man was arrested for allegedly having marijuana. A Yorktown police officer was on routine patrol April 30 when he saw a 2015 Toyota turning without signaling and while allegedly smoking a marijuana cigarette while driving.

The man was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

He was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and released on his own recognizance.
