Yorktown Man Faces DWI Felonies: PD
Police said the man also had an open container of alcohol in the car he was driving.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man is facing felony charges after being accused of drunken driving.
The Yorktown Police Department said Fredi H. Villagran, 50, of Yorktown, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent or more and driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction in 10 years, both felonies, and operate motor vehicle with an open alcohol container, a traffic infraction.
Police said, around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers went to Crompond Road in the area of Old Yorktown Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

The officers said Villagran was driving while intoxicated and he had an open container of alcohol in his car.
He was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.

A further investigation revealed Villagran not only was driving while his blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent or more, but he had a previous aggravated DWI conviction in the past 10 years.
After being processed, he was released on his own recognizance to a responsible third party.
Villagran is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court Feb. 8.
