Yorktown Man Faces Robbery, Burglary Charges
Police said the man was identified as a burglary suspect while an investigation into a car theft was taking place.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was arrested after being accused of robbery and burglary Monday. Yorktown police said Shaun M. Noone, 35, of Yorktown, was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree burglary, both felonies.
Police said they responded shortly before 12:30 p.m. Aug. 12 to a report of a stolen car.
Noone was identified as the suspect, authorities said.

An investigation found that Noone stole the victim's car by pushing her and causing her to fall to the ground and injure herself.
While police were investigating the car theft, they received information that a burglary had taken place in the same area.

Noone was identified as that suspect as well, police said.
He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.
After Noone was arraigned, the judge set bail at $50,000 or bond at $25,000, neither of which he could post. The judge also issued orders of protection on behalf of the victims.
Noone was sent to the Westchester County Jail and is due to appear in Yorktown Justice court Aug. 15.
