Yorktown Police Arrest Cortlandt Manor Woman For Drunk Driving, Leaving Scene Of Accident
Police said she had a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent of more.

YORKTOWN, NY — A two-car accident yielded drunk driving charges and more for a Cortlandt Manor resident.
Police said April J. O’Connor, 25, of Allan Street in Cortlandt Manor, was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.18 percent of more, both misdemeanors, and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, a traffic infraction.
Yorktown Police were called to a two-car motor vehicle accident around 7:40 a.m. Feb. 28 in the area of Route 6 and Lee Boulevard.

The driver of one of the cars had left the scene.
The vehicle was stopped by the New York State Police on Route 6.

O’Connor was determined to be the driver, and police said she was intoxicated.
She was arrested and taken to police headquarters where she was processed and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party.
O’Connor is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court March 9.
